This program is not about denial, restriction and hunger. It’s about nourishment—for your body and soul.
Most diets don’t truly teach you about food—about how it affects your body and emotions so you can make smart decisions about what you eat.
Path for Life will teach you what you need to know about food, mindfulness, and habits so you can make better choices for your physical and emotional wellbeing.
Knowledge & Wisdom Instead of Confusion: There is so much confusion today about food and how it affects your health and weight. Every day, new information comes out—from studies, doctors, and weight loss “gurus”—that’s different from or even contradicts what we heard the day before. Add to this all the pre-existing myths about food, and you end up with information overload. There’s so much material out there, but so little wisdom about trusting yourself, your body, and your natural ability to achieve and maintain your wellbeing.
It Is All About You: There’s one thing virtually all this conflicting information has in common: it assumes we are all basically the same and that each day is predictable. In reality, each of us is a unique individual with a unique body, life experiences, everyday challenges, and ideas about what we want from life. Because each of us is unique, only we ourselves can truly understand what we need. This is why it’s so crucial to come to an understanding of your own unique self and your individual needs.
Empowering You to Make Your Own Choices: There are countless diets out there that make miraculous promises. They focus on losing weight rather than on gaining health. They may teach you how to “diet,” but most don’t truly teach you about how food affects your body and emotions so you can make your own best choices. Diets are usually about restricting yourself, but Path for Life will teach you about yourself as an emotional being, how to become mindful about your thoughts’ and habits’ effect on your choices, and how to live a fully nourished life.
Designed for you as an individual. This program is structured into nine steps following the pathway of the bagua, which is based on the ancient wisdom and healing path of Chinese medicine. Each step contains three key elements for transformation: knowledge, mindfulness, and habit shifting, which you learn how to apply to you. Integrating these elements, each step builds on the one before it. This allows you to experience a process of change that follows your body’s natural processes and functions. You are given two weeks to complete each step, although you can always take longer if you like.
Food Knowledge. The first section in each step is knowledge-based. When you truly understand how food works in your body, how it affects you physically and emotionally, you will also know why you want to choose one food over another. This means you’ll be learning why and how to choose your food—rather than attempting to follow a diet, you will be navigating your options. The knowledge I will give you is based on the years I’ve spent studying food and its healing power, merging all the new information out there with real client experiences, and seeing the results of how eating according to what we truly need changes our relationship both to food and to ourselves, giving us a whole new path to nourishment.
Mindfulness. The second section in each step is about awareness. We have an estimated 70,000 thoughts per day, and 70% of them are negative. About 90% of our thoughts are repeat thoughts from the day before. To change our lives, we need to get in touch with our thought patterns. When you become aware of your thoughts, you can learn to shift them and make the choices that work best for you. This section in each step will gently teach you about the various aspects of mindfulness and how building awareness will empower you to make good choices.
Habit Shifting. The third section of each step is action-based. 95% of our actions are unconscious—meaning only 5% result from conscious choices! In this section of each step, we’ll build on your mindful thoughts from the previous section, so you can recognize your existing mindless habits and create new mindful ones that will naturally empower you to move forward. You will also learn how to create a clear vision of what you really want in life, and learn the tools to make it a reality.

She started investigating what actually blocks people from implementing lasting change in their lives and developed this 9-step process that integrates food knowledge, mindfulness, and habit shifting to give her clients the tools they needed to help them transform their relationships with food.
